Cerebral Palsy Treatment Center
The Passaic County Elks Cerebral Palsy Treatment Center provides specialized programs and facilities for Pre-school Children, Elementary School Students, High School Students, and Adults.

Our Main Avenue location houses our administrative offices, pre-school program, and elementary school.

The pre-school program features an exceptional educational and therapeutic team approach that best serves young children with various developmental abilities. Three to five year olds attend full day sessions Monday through Friday. The team works closely with parents, physicians, specialists, and child study teams in order to best meet the children's individual needs. As the students reach age five, they are then moved to an elementary  classroom.

The Passaic County Elks Cerebral Palsy Treatment Center - Elementary School program includes students ages five through fourteen, who have various developmental abilities, that warrant the need for special education, speech therapy, occupational therapy and physical therapy. The special abilities of our students vary, ranging from minimal to severe impairment. A staff team approach is utilized in order to provide the students with an optimal program. The curriculum is aligned with the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards. The teachers and specialists use this curriculum to develop appropriate goals and objectives for each student. Students grade 3 through 8 take NJASK or APA.

The Passaic County Elks Cerebral Palsy High School offers educational and therapeutic programs for students ranging in age from pre-teen to young adult. The high school offers community based job training at local stores, hospitals, and agencies. Students receive instruction in reading, math, language arts, science, social studies, gym, music, pre-vocational areas, and functional activities of daily living. Instruction is focused on the New Jersey Core Curriculum Standards. The high school is an approved site for the administration of standardized testing for GEPA, HSPA and APA.

The Passaic County Elks Adult Training Center Program incorporates independent living skills and socialization with work skills for employment training. The Adult Program funded by the Department of Developmental Disabilities and Medicaid, provides a day program which includes work activities, nursing care, social services, physical, occupational and speech therapies, sensory integration, employment and volunteer opportunities and continuing adult education programs.
